My Portfolio

Gaylord College offers many amazing courses, but my favorite course in my four years at the University of Oklahoma was advertising research. The final project challenged my team to help a local coffee shop address its advertising problem and identify its target audience. The project was completed in December, 2025, and through primary and secondary research, we successfully identified where the advertising issue stemmed from and who the client should be targeting using real-life data.

 

 I contributed significantly during the project by completing the entirety of the SPSS analysis, which made up a majority of our research. I stepped in as the team leader to make sure everyone stayed on task and organized. I consistently communicated between my group and the professor, even when things felt chaotic. We used Canva and SPSS to complete our group project, along with other websites to obtain all of our secondary data.

 

This process helped grow my confidence in my leadership skills and my analytical abilities. I learned that when chaos approaches, I can remain accountable and step up when I am needed. Most importantly, I learned that I enjoy turning data and research into helpful insights that will grow and impact future clients and brands.
